Drying Your Synthetic Hair Products

  1. Step 6

Wrap your wig in a towel and gently pat out excess water. Do not twist or brush the hair while wet.

  2. Step 7

Gently fluff up the wig while still slightly damp and allow it to air dry on a wig stand. Avoid using a hair dryer or exposing the wig to direct heat. Once dry, use a wide-toothed comb to brush it out.

How often should you wash? Synthetic wigs are best washed 2–4 times a year. Human hair wigs can be washed more frequently — around once a month.
