To say that we love a half wig (sometimes called a ¾ wig) is an understatement, its the easiest way to add volume and length to your hair in an instant and looks so incrediby natural.

Lets start with the basics though. A half wig or ¾ wig (as we call them in the UK) is a wig that only covers part of your head. It starts at the crown of your head and covers the sides and back. The reason it looks so natural on is that its all your own hair at the front and sides so you can create length and fullness but still have the natural beauty of your own hair framing your face.

Half wigs are so quick and easy to attach to your own hair, they don't require all the fiddliness of putting on hair extensions as there is one long flexi comb that attaches to the crown of your hair and another one which attaches at the nape of your neck meaning its so secure and comfortable on that you wont know you are wearing it – well not until you start getting all the compliments on your new hair!

Half wigs are built around a lightweight, slightly stretchy mesh cap so they will easily fit all head shapes.

How to Put on a Half Wig (¾ wig)

1: Either make a ponytail (at the back of your head for short hair, or at the top of your head if you have longer hair) or simply pull your hair back, leaving some hair at the sides and in front of your crown. preparing to put on a half wig
2: Place the front flexi-comb at the top of your head, and slide the comb firmly against your scalp. (For extra security, you can also attach the lower flexi-comb: to do so, hold the top of the wig in place while you locate the flexi-comb at the bottom of the wig and slide it up into the hair at the nape of your neck.) putting on a half wig

Wear With Confidence

The combs are flexible and are comfortable to wear. They also do a fantastic job of keeping the hairpiece secure, so you can wear a half wig without worries. However, for those of you with very fine, silky hair you may wish to fix a couple of crossed over kirby grips on either side of your head for that extra sense of security whilst strutting your funky stuff. Or a little touch of back combing will also do the trick.
