How To Wash Synthetic Hair Products

Step 1
washing step 1: brush wig gently

Before washing your hair piece it is advisable to gently brush out the tangles from ends to roots.

washing step 2: wash in tepid water with shampoo

Then, in a sink or basin, mix tepid water (25 degrees) with shampoo and immerse the piece. Gently swirl and let soak for 2 minutes.

washing step 3: rinse out shampoo

Rinse the piece in cold water until all of the shampoo is removed.

Step 4
washing step 4: soak in tepid water with conditioner

Refill the basin with tepid water and a dash of fabric conditioner and allow the piece to soak for 10 minutes.

washing step 5: rinse out conditioner

After that, rinse the conditioner out with cold water.

Drying Synthetic Hair Products

Step 6
drying step 6: towel dry gently

Wrap your wig in a towel and gently pat out excess water. Do not twist or brush the hair while wet.

Step 7
drying step 7: air dry on wig stand

For a wig or half wig, gently fluff it up whilst it is still a bit damp and allow it to air dry on a wig stand.
